Douglas County Register of Deeds Honored as Certified Public Official

Morrisville, N.C.  -  Douglas County Register of Deeds Diane L. Battiato and four other public officials were honored for earning their Certified Public Official (CPO) designation or recertifying as a CPO at the Annual Conference of the National Association of County Recorders, Election Officials and Clerks (NACRC) on July 16, in Portland, OR.   

The following individuals recertified: Diane Battiato, register of deeds, Douglas County, NE, in Land Records; John A. Cunningham, clerk, Kane County, IL, in Election Administration;  Barbara Jacob-Tucker, council secretary, St. Charles Parish, LA, in Clerk to Board; and Mark Monacelli, recorder, St. Louis County, MN, in Land Records.  Sheila Dalen, recorder, Ward County, ND, was honored as a Certified Public Official in Land Records.
